Zoho Reports gives professionals a better way to monitor their data and analyze business information. Users can upload their data using spreadsheets, traditional applications or the web. Within minutes, the data is compiled into readable, organized reports. Zoho Reports also provides users with a drag and drop interface to easily customize the user’s reports. Each report features vibrant colors in the form of line graphs or bar charts so the user can easily review the data at a glance and look for trends or changes. Zoho has also included collaboration tools with its Reports application. Users can come together to make decisions and discuss the data. Zoho Reports also includes SQL query functions so the user can quickly find the information they need.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Zoho Reports is member of the Zoho family of web based applications. Based out of Pleasanton, California, Zoho was founded in September of 2005. Today, the team has grown to enormous proportions to consist of around 1,500 individuals, including Evangelist Raju Vegesna and Director of Business Development Ian Wenig.

What are the differences to other apps?

Zoho Reports offers many of the same features that similar applications offer. It is most likely a more appealing option for current Zoho users because they are already familiar with the company and its applications. Zoho Reports are also very functional and well organized, making them a good choice for businesses and individual professionals. Users can compile data, view it in readable charts and graphs and even share it with others.

How does the web app look and feel to use?

The Zoho Reports website looks very similar to all other Zoho applications. The company always utilizes a white background with a colorful block logo. The Reports application takes those same vibrant colors and employs them in its bar and line chart indicators. Zoho Reports is nicely organized and makes a good option for professionals and businesses that need a better way to create and manage reports.

How does the registration process work?

Users who wish to access Zoho Reports will need a Zoho account. This can be created by clicking on the blue “Sign Up” link in the top portion of the log in box. The registration form requires a username, email address, password and word verification. The user must also check the terms of service and privacy policy box in the bottom area of the form. A second box is present to sign the user up for the Zoho newsletter, but this is optional. Clicking the blue “Sign Up Now” button at the bottom of the form takes the user directly to their Zoho Reports dashboard page.

What does it cost to use the application?

Zoho Reports gives users five membership options. The first is a free account which is automatically chosen when the user first registers. This membership includes up to two users, five databases, 100,000 rows, five query tables, three scheduled imports and SSL security. Next is the Basic plan which costs around $15 per month and upgrades to include up to 250,000 rows, a backup feature and unlimited databases, query tables and scheduled imports. The Standard account costs around $35 per month and includes up to five users, 500,000 rows, multiple database owners and rebranding capabilities. The Professional account costs around $60 per month and includes up to 10 users and one million rows. The Professional Plus plan costs around $95 per month and includes up to 20 users and two million rows.
